4.0 February 1, 2026
Major Release
The Dashboard has undergone major enhancements making it more customizable and user friendly. With improvements to existing Widgets, the addition of new ones, and various other new features, the 4.0 update marks a new era for MyAgentBase. Read below for more details:
🎛️ Dashboard Improvements & Widget Management
  • You can now change the Dashboard Layout to suit your preference at /settings/dashboard
    • Three columns is still the default layout.
    • Simplify with two-column layouts: 50/50, 60/40, or 40/60.
    • Or consolidate everything into one full-width column.
  • You can now hide a Widget's title bar.
  • Customize the Widget Call to Action - change the text, URL, or hide it entirely.
  • Widgets can now be edited & added directly from the Dashboard.
  • You can now reset the entire dashboard to the default values in a single click.
  • You can also reset individual widgets to their default options.
🔃 Updates to Existing Widgets
  • Calendar Widget
    • New view options: Monthly (grid) and Today (list)
  • Recent Industry News
    • You can now choose the number of articles displayed (defaults to 3, max 10)
  • Recent Posts
    • New "Most Recent Post" view that displays the full content of the most recent post.
    • In the "List" view you can now set the number of posts displayed (defaults to 3, max 10)
  • Featured Agent
    • You can now select a specific roster member to highlight in addition to the default "random" mode.
  • Links & Files Widget
    • In addition to displaying your "pinned" items, you can now select a folder to display as well.
  • Wiki Items
    • You can now change the "Display mode" of the widget between "Pinned", "Specific Category", "All FAQs", and "All Articles".

  • Announcement (custom content)
    • Make an announcement or office update with a WYSIWYG editor.
  • Single Post / Article
    • Display the full content of a single Post or Wiki article.
  • Dynamic List
    • Display a curated list of Links & Files, Posts, Wiki Items, and Folders.
  • Image Carousel
    • Display a slideshow of images or a random featured image from the list.
    • Links can be added to images.
    • In slideshow mode autoplay can be toggled on and off.
    • Note: your "Vendor Ad" widget was gracefully migrated to the Image Carousel widget.
  • Custom HTML
    • Embed custom HTML content like forms, iframes, or third-party widgets.
📃 Page Updates
  • You can now add Custom Links to your sidebar + mobile menu at /settings/pages
  • Pages can now be reordered (via drag and drop)
  • The Page order can be reset in your page settings.
  • On mobile, the first four pages will display on the nav bar, and the rest in the "more" menu.
🏞️ Post Updates
  • Added a new "featured image" field to Posts
  • Improved the Post editing experience by making it full width and adding a sidebar
↔️ Misc. Updates
  • You can now minimize and expand the sidebar on desktop devices
  • Changed the mobile "more" menu into a more intuitive dropdown.
  • Text alignment added to the WYSIWYG editor.
  • Improved the search algorithm / results for Events & Roster

  • You can now view details in a modal when clicking a resource.
  • Folders can now be pinned to the Dashboard.
  • Added a drop down menu to Links & Files items for better usability and convenience.
  • Search results have been redesigned and improved.
  • Folder items can now be sorted with a filter.
  • Added special icons for Google Drive Links - Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides.
  • The "Miscellaneous" folder was renamed to "Uncategorized"
  • The "Classic" view was renamed to "Single Page" and updated with all of these features.
  • It's now easier to manage your Links & Files.
  • Titles are auto populated when uploading Files
  • Folders, Links, and Files can now be "hidden" - only visible to admins.
  • You can now select Links and Files by Subcategory when moving items
  • Admin actions were added to the dropdown menu.

📖 Introducing the Wiki (Questions redesign)
  • The Questions page has been upgraded and reworked into a more robust knowledge base called the "Wiki"
  • You can now create "Articles" for long-form content alongside "FAQs" for shorter questions and answers.
  • You can now group and organize your FAQs and Articles with categories.
  • You can now open FAQs and Articles in their own page.
  • Articles and FAQs can be commented on.
  • You can now add images, videos, and GIFs to FAQs and Articles.
  • There are special categories for FAQs, Articles, Pinned, and Uncategorized, all of which can be disabled.
  • The Wiki search functionality has been improved.
  • Category access can be restricted to specific roster members or teams.
Misc.
  • Added an in-app notice when a new application version is released.
  • Fixed a bug when focusing the WYSIWYG editor with tab.
  • Improved the design of all outbound emails.
  • Added new email preferences for Post Broadcasts and Product Updates.

💌 Direct Messages have arrived!
  • You can now send direct messages to the members of your intranet with verified email addresses.
  • Conversations can be private or in groups of up to 24 people.
  • You can attach files and images to messages.
  • You can also share GIFs from Giphy.com
  • React to messages with emojis 🔥💯
  • If you're away and someone directly messages you, forward it to your email. This can be turned off.
  • Select a sound to play when receiving a new message.
  • Search your messages, conversations, and uploaded files.
⚙️ Settings redesign
  • Your settings page has been redesigned for better usability.
  • Instead of one big page that scrolls, it is now restructed to have individual pages.
  • You can now edit your email preferences and sound settings on a new page: /settings/notifications
  • You can now grant roster members permissions to edit your settings pages.
  • You now get prompted when navigating to a different page when a form has unsaved changes.
🔍 Misc.
  • Your company Social Links are now separately editable from the primary account.
  • LinkedIn was added to the list of possible social links.
  • You can now add GIFs from Giphy.com to Posts.
  • The search page was redesigned.
  • UX enhancements to modals and drawers.

  • The industry news feed is now easier to manage.
  • You can now extend a RSS feed's fetch time when adding / updating custom feeds.
  • You can now see which feeds are causing errors in the settings.

  • Fixes feed display issues on dashboard & industry news pages when your feed has an error.

  • You can now set a default color mode for your intranet (System Default, Dark Mode, Light Mode)

MyAgentBase has undergone a minor redesign and we also fixed some bugs:
  • New MyAgentBase Logo + Font
  • Redesigned website with individual pages for pricing, features, and info.
  • You can now also log in to your account at https://myagentbase.com/login
  • We now notify members that their account is unclaimed when logging in.
  • An all new https://demo.myagentbase.com to play around with.
  • Your posts are now paginated for easier browsing.
  • The settings icon has changed from a gear to a slider.
  • Added a recurring icon next to events that repeat.
  • Improved event display in month view.
  • Bug fixes including: Login display, hidden member 404s, event display, FAQ ordering.

Minor Release
We made calendars and events better. There's still some work to be done, but here's what's new:
  • We made it easier to add events to your personal calendars. Now compatible with the following calendar types: Apple, Google, iCal File, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.com
  • Events from a Google Calendar are displayed with more information when clicked, previously clicking an event directly linked to the Google calendar.
  • You can now restrict access on calendars to specific roster members or teams.
  • You can now schedule events for any time, event times in the past were previously not allowed.
  • Clicking a birthday now links to the roster member's profile.

We improved how you manage page and folder access alongside one of the most requested features, teams! Here's what changed:
  • You can now group your roster members into teams.
  • You can now restrict access on folders and pages to specific roster members or teams.
  • You can have unlimited teams at no extra cost to your monthly subscription.
  • You can now more easily send account verification emails to roster members from their profile.
  • You can now filter your industry news page by feed.

🎉 The much anticipated 3.0 update is here. Here's what's new:
  • Dashboard widgets can now be reorganized, renamed, collapsed, and hidden.
  • 🌚 Dark mode - MyAgentBase now supports dark mode, defaulting to your system preference.
  • Posts and industry news have been split into their own pages and dashboard widgets.
  • You can now reply to comments on posts.
  • You can now sticky posts to the top of the post list.
  • You can now embed youtube videos in posts.
  • Added 4 new default RSS feeds to industry news.
  • Individual page for roster members at /roster/slug
  • Added birthdays, bio, and social fields to roster members
  • Birthdays now show up on the Calendar and Featured Agent widget.

  • "Categories" are now called "Folders".
  • The main Links & Files page now only shows your Folders.
  • You can now view Folders on their own page at /links-and-files/your-folder .

We're starting the year off with some quality of life improvements that give you a little more control over your roster members. Some larger changes are on the way, so stay tuned. Here's what's new:
  • Roster member visibility options - decide who can be featured or visible to the public.
  • Some of our automated emails were getting lost in inboxes, so office facing emails are now more personalized with your company name and logo.
  • Forgot Password now has its own page.
  • Claim Account now has its own page.

New Feature
You can now broadcast announcements to your roster's phones via SMS. Here's how:
  • Make sure you're logged in, navigate to the news page, and click "New SMS"
  • After submitting, each member on your roster with a phone number will receive the notification.
  • Please note, SMS broadcasts may not be edited once sent.
You can also now search through posts and sms broadcasts.
* Please note, this feature is in beta and is subject to change.

This update focuses on improving the usability and functionality of the roster. You can now:
  • Grant employees permission to manage the roster. We recommend assigning this to office admins.
  • Send an account verification email when creating an employee account.
  • Disable employee accounts entirely in your roster settings.
  • The roster now displays contact information beneath members' names for easier navigation.
